This section of the web page is dedicated to one of our favorite independent film-makers, Jeff Vilencia. Jeff has made quite a few movies and short subjects that we have had the pleasure to enjoy and review. Jeff has also been seen on several television shows and has been nominated for an Academy Award. An avid 78 collector, jazz fan and a great guy. Below you will find information on both Jeff and some of his films. Use the handy navigational bar below to quickly go to the review.

Jeff Vilencia - Summer Vaction VHS

Summer Vacation is a romp in art like never before seen. It is a full-length movie by Jeff Vilencia and Screaming Stoner Video recommends this film to all our visitors. The film starts out with Jeff being very bored and looking for some form of entertainment. It then chronicles his summer vacation with surrealistic imagery and clips of Jeff's own paintings (excellent work, by the way). From the making of a music video to "illegal bike riding" this film both entertains and holds the attention like few movies can. From the "crush-freak" footage (seen below) to the insane narration, this flick holds its own. If you're tired of having to select films based on major-motion-picture video chains who censor what you watch, contact the film-maker himself at squish00@gte.net for information on how to order this must-have video. Jeff Vilencia - getting high VHS What a surprise! When going to our mailbox on Christmas Eve we found two videos sent by independent film-maker Jeff Vilencia. The first video was titled Getting High (1995) and it is a surrealistic journey (or dedication) into the joys of smoking pot. This 16mm film short is both entertaining and funny. Freddy the Talking Bong is a classic! The second film, Shopping for 78's (1994) and was equally as great. Witness President Clinton smoke some bud and deny inhaling! This journey centers around a mans' hunt for classic 78 RPM records and his final puff of smoke! Both of these killer films are destined to become classics and are great watching when you and your buddies are sitting around rolling joints! (Puff!Puff!Puff!Puff!) order Jeff Vilencia film... She used to bake excellent cookies in her day.

We miss her very much!

Smush (1993) is another offering from Jeff. The great thing about this film is that it was nominated for an Academy Award in 1995, which proves that the Academy can show an ounce of taste from time to time. This 8-minute and 30 second morsel delves into the worlds of both Foot-Fetishism and the more obscure Crush-Fetishism. It is a remarkably well done piece that stars Erika Elizondo, as a sexy lady who with her well sculpted feet crushes a myriad of earth worms in a highly erotic and somewhat gruesome manner. Equally arousing is the pixie-like voice that narrates the short film. All told, this movie captivates the viewer with its images of domination and sexuality in a way that even a none fetishist can enjoy. It may possibly persuade even the most inhibited to experiment with the world of the Crush Freak or Foot Fetishist. (Puff!Puff!Puff!Puff!) order Jeff Vilencia film... Jeff Vilencia - The Roaring Twenties VHS If you're a fan of good jazz and vintage porn, then The Roaring Twenties is for you. This film presents a unique outlook on the 1920's and all its scandal. A veritable mountain of well-preserved archival footage is the glue that holds this film together. This 45 minute odyssey allows the viewer to look into both the music and the sexual nature of this decade. This video is great for those of you who lived to see the decade, or those of you who wished that you did. Complete with tons of black and white porn and great narrative, The Roaring Twenties is for all. The amazing thing with this offering is that Jeff is able to take rare stock footage and mix it with even rarer music from 78 RPM Records! All we can say is that this is truly another fine accomplishment for our friend, Jeff. Pick up a copy now! (Puff!Puff!Puff!) order Jeff Vilencia film... Not Rated
At the Sleazies (1987) is "a festive frolic through the T&A cult films of the '50s and 60s" done as a funny spoof on "At the Movies." Your hosts are Rocky and Electra who guide you through tons of rare trailers for only the most-obscure films of this generation. They give their views and share their hopes in only a way that they know how while enjoying clips from great movies like "Orgy of the Dead" and "Please Don't Eat My Mother." The archival footage is excellent (and is from Jeff's own vault) and the filming is very simple, to-the-point and professional. This film is more of a comedy then anything else but is worth a place in both your home video library and your heart (gee!). This 45 minute VHS video tape can be ordered by contacting the film-maker himself at squish00@gte.net for more information. (Puff!Puff!Puff!) order Jeff Vilencia film... Jeff Vilencia - images VHS Images (1994) is a dedication to the shapes that make up our life. The animation and format of this film make for an interesting journey. The music is done brilliantly and again, like Jeff's other work, it holds your attention. You will find yourself being pulled into this short-subject and wishing you had your favorite mind-altering potion to aid you on the trip! Don't be put off by this one, philosophy-majors and stoners alike can appreciate this offering and will find themselves watching it over and over again! Jeff himself has said, "My films are short and to the point" and Images happens to be such a film. Like all other movies found on this page, you can order a copy by contacting the film-maker himself at squish00@gte.net for information. While you're at it, why not pick up a few of Jeff's other excellent videos? (Puff!Puff!Puff!) order Jeff Vilencia film... Not Rated
If you were the type of guy (or gal) who liked to peek in at your grandparents at night to see if they still "did it" then Sleaze (1987) is for you. This documentary traces the history of pornography from cave drawings to adult home video in a wonderful way. Firstly, you'll find yourself wondering where the archival footage was found and where it has been all these years. Total hardcore done by our grandparents (we're talking full-on "boning") in black and white with an excellent jazz soundtrack. This is a great one for those rainy days when you're a little low on herb. The film is done in a very professional manner with tons of stock footage from the era with great narration done by Jeff himself. This 45 minute video tape is a must-have for collectors of the rare or for those who are dateless more often then not. (Puff!Puff!Puff!½) order Jeff Vilencia film...
